
George Lyford currently sits on the Nevada State Contractors board as the Director of Investigations since 1998. George Lyford attended the University of Buffalo where he received his BA in political science. In order to flourish his education he then attended George Washington University were George received his MA in financial crimes. After ten years of education in his field George served on the Southern Nevada Bar Association Disciplinary Board (1997-2006). In addition, George was employed for the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a special agent; areas of focus included: robberies, kidnapping, extortion, interstate theft, fugitives, etc. Presently George regulates the laws in the State of Nevada by establishing and staffing the Special Investigation Unit, program management, internal investigations, liaison with law enforcement community budget preparation, etc.
